Technology has a role in society of making life better, and while it does this it’s still an inconveinence to use. A whole set structure of systems and languages need to be adopted for someone to begin to use the technology. As a child my camera was point and click, now I’ve got a multitude of buttons and settings I need to navigate to take a photo. Technology is suppose to link the user with the required result as efficiently as possible, but we can never escape the fact that …

I don’t use Hootsuite or Tweetdeck as I found it too much of an inconvenience to have a separate application open just for Twitter – it really needs to integrate seamlessly, as the less it feels like I’m using it, the more I actually can use it without encroaching on the other stuff I’m doing. To shoot, you …

South by South West Interactive is almost over for another year, and I can’t help feeling that I’m glad it’s going to have passed so I can get on with my life. What’s irritating is that although there is a plethora of new articles every day providing a much more accessible insight into the developments there than I would ever manage to gain on my own out there, and nearly every breath or seat shuffle is reported online from multiple viewpoints, it’s still not a suitable substitute.
Truth be told, SXSW …

Are geeks now cool? If so why, and who exactly thinks they’re cool? It certainly seems that geek is beginning to have it’s day, but I think we may be getting a little ahead of ourselves.
Teenage self made millionaires/ billionaires are not something the previous generations were very familiar with. The digital landscape nowadays has a lot in common with that of the Wild West in the 1800s. It’s a Gold Rush where the romantic allure of stumbling across your millions seems tantalisingly easy. Like then, those with the tools …
